Animal Lover
I have always been obsessed with animals. As a child I wanted to be a veterinarian. Obsessed with horses I took years of English Saddle lessons throughout most of my life. I also participated in and volunteered at a variety of equine events through several different equine clubs. I presently volunteer as a healer and AC at Circle A Home for Horses, an equine rescue, in VA Beach, VA.
Healer
After college I worked as a research assistant at Yale University’s Medical School, in the fields of neurology and psychiatry. I then attended Syracuse University and obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Social Work (MSW). After graduation I worked in various medical settings. Years later I broadened my healing knowledge and studied Eastern Medicine ("Energy Medicine") and became a Reiki Master, Tai Chi instructor, and Crystal and Chakra healer.
Animal communicator (AC)
In the 1980's I attended an AC lecture in Northern Virginia, given by internationally known AC, Diane Roadcap. Afterwards, I was so impressed that I asked Diane to connect with my older guinea pig, who was ailing at the time. The information Diane provided helped me decide what steps and treatment were best for Toupee which was invaluable to me.
The pandemic in 2020, provided the opportune time to began to investigate and learn AC. Each AC communicates a little differently with animals. I connect telepathically, entirely through the modality of “clair-audience" (clear hearing). I ask an animal a question and then hear their answers in words in my mind. I found being a former therapist, really helps me facilitate a conversation and build a rapport with them. I was certified, after five years of study and practice.
I decided to form “Critter Chatter” in 2025, not only to help as many animals and owners as possible but also to reach and introduce more people to this form of communication. If we were all able to communicate through interspecies we could build a better environment for all of us.
